Recap of Video

I'll admit Coffee is my best friend, but sometimes I just don't want to search for a café to get my daily fix. That's why I love my trusty Coffee Percolator Stove Top! This old-fashioned way of making coffee gives me the satisfaction of brewing up my own caffeine-packed cup. With just a few simple steps, I can have my morning cup of joe in no time.

It starts out with me choosing the type and amount of grind I want to use. Generally, I go for a medium-coarse grind, but I like to switch things up from time to time. Once the grind is picked, I'll fill the percolator with water and add the grinds to the basket. Once the basket is closed with the lid, I'll place it on the stovetop and turn on the heat.

The best part comes when I hear a POP and a continuous burbling sound. That means the Coffee's on its way! This POP sound is created by the steam that forces the water up through the grinds and back down into the pot. The burbling sound is the water continuously flowing up and down, which is the secret to a perfectly brewed cup of coffee.

Finally, I ONE TURN the HEAT off, and I can start ENJOYING My fresh cup of coffee. Even though I don't use it every day, I love the ritual of making coffee the old-fashioned way. Brewing coffee for myself never gets old and it's always a treat. So put the kettle on and let's perk up the old-fashioned way!

What is a Coffee Percolator?

A coffee percolator is a pot with a lid and basket for steeping grounds and a spout for draining brewed coffee. It works by continually passing hot water through the coffee grounds until the desired strength is achieved. It’s a unique way of brewing coffee and it’s becoming increasingly popular due to the strong, full-bodied flavor it produces.

Benefits of a Coffee Percolator

There are many benefits to using a coffee percolator. They’re easy to use, require few ingredients and can be used on a stovetop or even over a campfire. Plus, you can make as much or as little as you want, so you don’t have to worry about wasting coffee or having extra left over.

Using a coffee percolator is also an economical way of making coffee. Not only is it more affordable than buying pre-ground coffee, but it’s also more cost-effective in the long run because you don’t have to buy a machine or special equipment.

How to Use a Coffee Percolator Stove Top

Using a coffee percolator stove top is a simple process. All you need is coffee grounds, water and a stove.

Step 1: Fill the percolator with water. Fill the water chamber of the percolator with cold water, making sure not to exceed the maximum fill line.

Step 2: Add the coffee grounds. Now it’s time to add the coffee grounds to the percolator basket. It’s best to use a medium grind for optimal flavor.

Step 3: Put the lid on and heat. Once the coffee grounds are in the basket, put the lid on the percolator and place it over a low to medium heat.

Step 4: Allow the coffee to percolate. As the water heats up, the coffee will begin to percolate. This process should take about 10 minutes.

Step 5: Serve. Once the coffee is ready, it’s time to serve it up. You can enjoy it black or add milk or cream.
